Modding Instructions:
Before we start, the first thing you will need is a file archieve program, two popular programs for this on Windows are WinRAR and 7-Zip.
Navigate to the Minecraft folder on your computer. Depending on what operating system you are using, it will be in one of these places:
Windows 7:
C:UsersYour Computer UsernameAppDataRoaming.minecraft
Windows XP/Vista:
C:Documents and SettingsYour Computer UsernameApplication Data.minecraft
Linux:
/home/Your Computer Username/.minecraft
Mac OS X:
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
In this folder there are a few files and folders but we need to open the bin folder.
Inside the bin folder, you will need to open your minecraft.jar file with the file archieve program you have installed. This file may be called just minecraft without the .jar part if you have file extensions disabled.
With your minecraft.jar file opened, you will need to first delete a folder called META-INF that will stop the mod from working. After you have done this, you can drag the file you have downloaded into the archieve program to add it to the minecraft.jar file.
Everything should now be working and you can open Minecraft the way you usually do with the new mod installed!
Features:
• Your own custom cape!
• Anyone else who has this mod will see your cape and you will see theirs!
• Turn your cape on and off with a simple tick box on this website! (Just have to restart Minecraft if currently open)
• Change your cape at any time! (Same condition as previous bullet point)
• More than just capes to come! (Optional)
